Their website says I will be impressed with their attention to detail. All I encountered was an owner unwilling to help with my moving needs.
Used Home Sweet Home to move from Amagansett to the city. The 'professional' packers did a horrible job. Didn't wrap items well or at all. That's one of the most important tasks. We found bed frames scratched, damaged, picture frames almost falling out of 'wrapped' boxes and furniture had fallen due to bad organizing and set up. They were very expensive and the quality received did not reflect what they sold.
I called them once and they called me back 2 days later. Then I called them back to schedule and they never returned my call. Guessing they dont need the business.
Wow, i called at 9am, they were here 2 hours later to move an heavy armoire from second floor. Extremely professional and carefully done... very impressive. Very efficient!
We haved used them for years. The show up late for house moves, charge you for the time they were supposed to arrive and didn't. Show up days late for simple transport of furniture. Office manager is rude, never give you adequate reason for overcharges, and delivery delays. USE SOMEONE ELSE.
Will never use them again.
